Modern Slavery Training for Property and Facility Managers – CBRE

Infografia collaborated with CBRE to develop a compelling e-learning module addressing the critical issue of modern slavery in the workplace. Designed for Property Managers (PMs) and Facility Managers (FMs) across CBRE’s Pacific operations, this training aimed to ensure compliance with modern slavery laws and CBRE’s policies, while equipping employees to identify and address risks within their supply chain.

The training was delivered as a concise, engaging online course featuring voiceovers complemented by animated graphics. Structured to blend information with impact, the course introduced the persistent reality of modern slavery, highlighting its global scale and relevance to CBRE’s operations. Using powerful visuals and relatable narratives, the module emphasized CBRE’s unwavering commitment to eradicating labor exploitation and safeguarding human rights.

Key topics included:

  • CBRE’s responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act and reporting obligations.
  • Identifying risks in high-exposure supply chain areas such as cleaning, security, landscaping, and catering.
  • Best practices for procurement, including the use of preferred supplier panels, supplier onboarding, and responding to modern slavery questionnaires.
  • Practical steps to recognize red flags and escalate concerns effectively.

The training concluded with a short interactive quiz to reinforce learning outcomes. By providing PMs and FMs with the tools to uphold CBRE’s ethical standards, the module strengthened the company’s compliance framework while empowering employees to act with vigilance and integrity.

This project underscores Infografia’s ability to transform sensitive and complex topics into accessible, impactful learning experiences, supporting CBRE’s mission to lead by example in fostering ethical supply chain practices.
